Ghana’s most vocal superstar, Shatta Wale, in a latest interview on TV3 with Giovani Caleb says he still feels there’s way more to achieve than people think.
According to him, he’s “still not at the highest point of his career as many people would think.”
“I’ve always been working hard each and every time.” (Shatta Wale)
Known for his clever but witty conversations, those weren’t left out either during the interview on the eve of Ghana’s 64th Independence Day commemoration on “Showbiz 360”.
Shatta Wale lamented again about how unfair the music space in Ghana hasn’t benefited him and his fellow Ghanaian musicians (that much), hence, he always tries to critique that side of the business anytime he gets the chance but gets misunderstood anytime he speaks his mind on that, nonetheless, he won’t stop addressing that.
• Reflections On the Beyoncé Collabo:
“Beyoncé collabo happened by God’s grace. And I was privileged to be on that project with her. We are here complaining about Afrobeats and God has used Moses (me) for that breakthrough and I think my colleagues should see it as a way to break through to higher levels too so we all can win together, but some still felt because it was me in the picture so they didn’t genuinely embrace it.
We should embrace things like this that will propel us all higher. Just like the way the Nigerians rally behind each other anytime, there’s a good news around any of their colleagues. I feel pained when I complain about my colleague artistes not getting the right treatment and returns on their craft.” — (Shatta Wale)

Shatta Wale was on the same show with Rocky Dawuni, Ghana’s first face of Recording Academy / GRAMMYs (nominee). He also spoke about how Ghana needs to seriously protect its culture and citizens selling the country abroad as well as his EP “Voice Of Bunbon” released in November 30, 2020. He premiered a latest video “Beautiful People” from it, shot on location in his hometown in Northern Region town of Bunbong.
Shatta Wale is wrapping on up his next album titled “Gift Of God” (GOG). There’s high anticipation for that album since he broke the news about it on KING LAGAZEE’s show on Hitz 103.9 FM (Yaad Settingz). Names like Gramps Morgan (of Morgan Heritage), Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, SAMINI, among others were mentioned by him to be some of the featured fans should watch out for. If no other changes come in this line up, y’all fanatics of Shatta Wale should expect something mega from his next catalogue dropping soon.
