Bra Shizzle wins big at 3rd Music Video Awards

Bra Shizzle, the Ghanaian cinematographer born Michael Marvin Kwofie, has been honoured by the 3rd Music Video Awards scheme for his work on Opanka Holiday, which features Kweysi Swat. That project was named Best Cinematography Video.

The director and filmmaker, 30, began his first broke into the industry in 2013, and has collaborated with known acts like Opanka, Donzy, Ephraim, Dr. Cryme, KK Fosu, Gallaxy. DJ Sawa (UK) Epixode and a host of others.

His acclaim expanded after he shot video for the smash hit single, Wedding Car from rapper Dadie Opanka in 2017. The video secured him nominations during the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and 4syte Music Video Awards.

The above feats have advanced his acclaim as a household name and increased his passion for unique plot twists and camera angles leading to an incredible illustration of art in the realm of multimedia.

In 2019, he embarked on several projects and worked on visuals for artistes including

Dr Cryme ft Kwesi Plus – Craze for baby
Ephraim ft KKFosu – Where you dey
Opanka ft KweysiSwat – Holiday
EyeJudah – Party for two
Kwesi Slay – streetways

His direction led several nominations for the best music video category in the Ghana Music Awards UK and he recently shot the award-winning video during the 3rd Music Video Awards for Opanka ft KweysiSwat – Holiday.
